Clint Dempsey’s amazing 2011-12 campaign gained a bit more luster on Saturday.
Dempsey scored twice against fellow American Tim Ream and Bolton Wanderers to give Fulham a 3-0 road win.
Dempsey’s first goal came in the 30′ off an impressive free kick from distance (the first free kick goal of Dempsey’s career, apparently; see the post-match interview at the end of the post). Dempsey’s second goal came off a header courtesy of a Damien Duff cross.
Dempsey’s two goals makes it 15 EPL goals and 21 in all competitions for the season.
Ream went the full 90 for Bolton in a losing effort.
